Speaking on state television, Baghaei stated: "We have received the views of the US side and we are currently reviewing them. The presence of the Pakistani Home Minister is intended to facilitate the exchange of messages."

The IRIB news agency quoted Baghaei as stating that Iran, within the framework of cooperation with Oman and in coordination with relevant international organizations, is seeking to build a mechanism to ensure sustainable security and prevent any threats to national interests in the Strait of Hormuz.
The diplomat also affirmed Tehran's readiness to establish regulations for safe maritime operations in cooperation with coastal states bordering the Strait of Hormuz.
