According to CNN, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned “threatening rhetoric by US officials toward Iran and several other regional countries.” In a statement today (May 28), the Iranian Foreign Ministry also expressed solidarity with “the friendly and brotherly nation of Oman.”

Iranian officials reacted after US President Trump emphasized on May 27 that the Strait of Hormuz would be “open to everyone” and that Washington would “monitor the waterway.” Trump also warned Oman not to interfere: “Oman will have to act like everyone else. Otherwise, we will have to blow them up.”
Previously, Iran stated that managing the Strait of Hormuz was not related to the US and that Tehran would coordinate this with Oman.
"Threats to destroy a UN member state that has consistently played a constructive, effective, and responsible role in regional peace and security, and has made noble efforts for regional peace and stability as a mediator in diplomatic processes for many years, not only violate the fundamental principle prohibiting the threat of force, but are also another dangerous sign of the normalization of illegal and bullying behavior in international relations," the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized.
Baghaei also “strongly condemned” the latest US attacks on the port city of Bandar Abbas, calling them “an act of aggression against Iran’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty .” However, a US official said the actions of Washington’s forces were “measured, purely defensive, and aimed at maintaining the ceasefire.”
In retaliation for the US action, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched an attack on a US base in the region. The base has not yet been named.
