A source confirmed to Page Six on September 2 that Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp is not dating actress Jenna Ortega (20 years old).
The Daily Mail reported that Ortega, 20, also addressed the "ridiculous" claims on her social media accounts.

"I can't even laugh. I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp. Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone," the Iron Man actor wrote on Instagram.
Page Six reached out to representatives for Ortega and Depp but did not receive a response.
The rumors started after blogger Deuxmoi posted that Johnny Depp and Jenna Ortega were spotted together and could be working together on the movie Beetlejuice 2 , which is scheduled to hit theaters in fall 2024.

Johnny Depp most recently made headlines for his romance with Joelle Rich, a London-based lawyer who represented the actor in a libel case against The Sun in 2020.
An insider told US Weekly last year that Rich was married. She and Depp were in the midst of a divorce from her husband when they started dating. The actor and the celebrity lawyer split in October 2022.

Johnny Depp was married to Amber Heard from 2015 to 2017. Last year, he won a defamation lawsuit against the Aquaman star, claiming that his 37-year-old ex-wife had lied about his abuse.
