With its unique cultural values ​​and long history that are constantly preserved and promoted, Thanh Ha pottery has been included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism according to Decision No. 2965/QD-BVHTTDL dated August 27, 2019.

Many tourists were guided by artisans of Thanh Ha Pottery Village to make their own pottery products, which was very interesting.

In addition to pottery making, clay figurines (also known as blown figurines) are also an activity that tourists enjoy. The figurines are made from brown clay taken from the Thu Bon River, simulating the shapes of animals representing the 12 zodiac signs and have holes drilled in the bottom to create sounds when blown.

Thanh Ha traditional pottery village has 32 pottery production and service establishments, creating jobs for dozens of local workers.

Recently, Hoi An City People's Committee has approved the outline of the task of building a green tour route in Thanh Ha Pottery Village. The specific goal is that 100% of homestay businesses are recognized as meeting green tourism standards according to the Quang Nam Green Tourism Criteria for Homestay; 50% of handmade pottery production establishments and pottery-making experiences are recognized as meeting green tourism standards according to the Quang Nam Green Tourism Criteria for Tourist Attractions; 50% of establishments selling various types of beverages practice green tourism. Implement a communication activity on green tourism for visitors.

According to the People's Committee of Hoi An City, after the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of visitors to the pottery village has recovered and grown well. In 2023, the total number of visitors buying tickets to visit Thanh Ha pottery village reached more than 567 thousand (revenue of more than 19.8 billion VND), an increase of more than 330% over the same period in 2022, becoming one of the most effective craft village tourism models in Quang Nam and the whole country today.
