Janine Freuling (from the Netherlands) is enjoying a long vacation in Vietnam after living and working in Bali, Indonesia for five years. She chose Da Nang as her destination and commented that it is "a livable city, suitable for experiencing a digital nomadic lifestyle."
Janine revealed that she really likes Vietnamese coffee and was surprised to see that this famous drink could be prepared in so many different ways. Therefore, during her first few days in Da Nang , the Western visitor spent time sampling several versions of coffee, both familiar and unfamiliar.
She said that after trying them, she would give her review to choose her favorite coffee, as well as recommend delicious drinks to everyone who comes to Vietnam.

Janine shared that she has tasted six different versions of coffee in Da Nang, from familiar options like coconut coffee, salt coffee, and egg coffee to new ones she'd just heard of, including peanut coffee, cheese coffee, and yogurt coffee.
According to Janine, the coffees here are mostly machine-brewed, have a rich, sweet flavor, and are affordably priced, ranging from 32,000 to 39,000 VND per cup. The Dutch tourist was also impressed by the local street coffee style.
"You can find these little chairs on the sidewalk. This is a popular outdoor seating spot for coffee," Janine said.

After trying six different versions of coffee, Janine noted that each had its own unique flavor, and the experience would vary depending on individual tastes. She commented that the peanut coffee and yogurt coffee were quite unique, but she wasn't used to them and found them not to her liking.
"The peanut coffee flavor was okay, but it was too thick and creamy, not to my liking. As for the coffee yogurt, it's something I've never tried before; I didn't even know that coffee and yogurt could be combined."
"If I have the chance to come back, I'll still visit these cafes, but I'll probably try some different coffee options," Janine shared.

The Western customer praised the egg coffee and cheese coffee for their richness and affordable price of only 39,000 VND. The egg coffee had "no fishy taste," while the cheese coffee had "a perfect blend of salty and sweet flavors."
"The egg coffee here tastes quite similar to the egg coffee I tried in another place before. However, this drink is quite strong; I can't drink 2-3 cups at once, I have to drink it every other day to avoid getting dizzy," she said.
However, Janine concluded that salted coffee and coconut coffee were her two favorites. In terms of flavor, she rated salted coffee 9.5/10 and coconut coffee 8/10.

According to the female tourist's impression, the coconut coffee had a "very strong coffee flavor, delicious coconut cream, and crispy, sweet dried coconut," while the salted coffee was "like whipped cream with salt but still sweet, not too salty, with a harmonious flavor."
Janine said that among the various coffee drinks she tasted in Da Nang, although some weren't quite as good as she'd hoped, she still found it an enjoyable experience, giving her the opportunity to learn more about Vietnamese beverages and their creative and unique brewing methods.
She also emphasized sharing her personal feelings, tastes, and thoughts, hoping that foreign tourists who have the opportunity to visit can refer to this and choose delicious coffee drinks according to their preferences.
