Opening of the 2026 summer book release season.

On May 28th, at Fahasa Tan Dinh Bookstore (Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Joint Stock Company (Fahasa) held the opening ceremony for its 2026 summer book release campaign.

This summer, Fahasa is focusing on building many thematic book collections to serve the reading, learning, and entertainment needs of readers during the summer, such as: The "I Love Vietnamese History" book collection - Following the proud history of our country; The "Life Skills for Children" book collection: Growing up safely; The "Kids Learn to Manage Money" book collection - Learning how to use money from the smallest things; The "World of Fun" book collection; The "Summer Review with Kids" book collection…

Mr. Pham Nam Thang, Standing Deputy General Director and General Director of Fahasa Retail, delivered the opening speech for the 2026 Summer Book Fair.

On this occasion, Fahasa is introducing many sets of books and stories for students, children, and families. Alongside book releases, Fahasa is also organizing a series of interactive programs, workshops, experiences, and community activities that will take place continuously throughout the summer of 2026 at many Fahasa bookstores nationwide.

Mr. Ho Cao Trong, General Director of Fahasa, presented gifts and symbolic plaques to the children and representatives from the Nha May Man Social Welfare Center.

In particular, leading up to its 50th anniversary (1976-2026), Fahasa is implementing a meaningful community program to spread reading culture and share with underprivileged children. Accordingly, Fahasa, in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television Station, donated 1,000 notebooks and many other gifts including backpacks, school supplies, books, etc., to disadvantaged students; and donated 100 gifts to children at the Nha May Man Social Welfare Center, each gift worth 600,000 VND.
