On the evening of May 23, at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center Gymnasium, the opening ceremony of the 2023 National Team Badminton Championship for the Li-ning Cup took place.
Provincial leaders presented flowers and souvenir flags to the teams participating in the tournament.
Attending the event were comrades: Pham Dong Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Vu Thanh Van, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Tran Thi Bich Hang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The tournament has athletes from 9 strong teams across the country: Ho Chi Minh City, Army, People's Police, Dong Nai, Bac Giang , Hai Phong, Hanoi, Lam Dong, Thai Binh. The men's and women's teams are divided into 2 groups, competing in a round robin to determine points, selecting the highest ranked teams to compete in the semi-finals and finals. For each team match, there are 3 singles matches and 2 doubles matches.
The 2023 National Badminton Team Championship for the Li-ning Cup, taking place from May 23 to 28, is an opportunity for Thai Binh athletes to compete at home with the support of a large Thai Binh audience, thereby contributing to raising the spirit of competition and determination to win the highest victory. At the same time, fans in Thai Binh have the opportunity to directly watch and interact with top athletes from across the country.
