Opening of the Northeast Industry and Trade Fair

The 2023 Northeast - Bac Kan Industry and Trade Fair has a scale of more than 200 booths of rural industrial establishments inside and outside the province, the event takes place from November 24-30, 2023.

At the fair, there are typical rural industrial products such as: OCOP products; agricultural - forestry - seafood products and food processing; handicrafts, wooden products, furniture; garments, fashion , leather shoes, household products; typical industrial products, strengths of provinces and cities are displayed and exchanged here.

According to the People's Committee of Bac Kan province, the Northeast - Bac Kan Industry and Trade Fair and the 2023 trade promotion event series are an opportunity for the provinces and cities in the Northeast region and provinces and cities across the country to promote economic and trade relations and strengthen trade connection activities, expand investment cooperation and regional linkages.

This is also an opportunity for entrepreneurs, enterprises, cooperatives, and rural industrial establishments to meet, promote, introduce, exchange, share experiences, learn about market information, connect product consumption to partners, and at the same time, it is an opportunity to grasp customer needs and tastes, thereby continuing to improve product quality, build appropriate production and business plans, and anticipate market trends.

Implementing the National Industrial Promotion Program and the socio-economic development tasks in 2023, while continuing to respond to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", with the spirit of expanding exchanges, meetings, sharing and promoting achievements in socio-economic development, culture, tourism, and trade promotion. This event will bring quality products, typical of regions.

Bac Kan province has 184 OCOP products, over 90 products are recognized as typical rural industrial products, including many products meeting 5-star and 4-star standards, many products are recognized as typical rural industrial products at regional and national levels, ensuring standards of quality, design, affirming the brand, enhancing the value of participation in the domestic market and export.

Some OCOP products of Bac Kan province have been exported to foreign markets such as: Tai Hoan vermicelli exported to the Czech Republic market, Thanh Tam leaf yeast wine, fruits, processed agricultural products for export (yellow apricots, pickled onions, ginger products...) exported to the Japanese market...

Within the framework of the event series, there are many other sideline activities such as: November 25-26, 2023, Short-term training conference on market development skills and product consumption on the Internet for businesses and cooperatives; Conference to disseminate policies and mechanisms for businesses and cooperatives.

On November 26-27, 2023, the Training Conference on Applying Traceability to Support Trade Promotion for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in the Province will also take place.
