Opening of the 2025 Cao Bang Province Ethnic Minority Sports Festival

VHO - From November 14-16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang coordinated with the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Cao Bang to organize the 3rd Cao Bang Provincial Ethnic Minority Sports Festival in 2025.

The contest took place at the Central Flower Garden of Thuc Phan Ward, Cao Bang Province.

The contest is one of the practical activities to celebrate the country's major holidays in 2025, continuing to implement the Party and State's policies on economic , cultural and social development in ethnic minority areas.

The contest has 57 teams from communes and wards in Cao Bang province. Athletes from the teams will compete in cross-country running, pole pushing, shuttlecock throwing, grass cutting and volleyball.

The competition is an opportunity for athletes from ethnic minorities in the whole Cao Bang province to exchange, learn, promote solidarity, improve health, and contribute to spreading the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho". At the same time, it contributes to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural and sports values ​​of ethnic minorities in Cao Bang province.

This is also an opportunity to honor the culture and sports of the highlands, and select outstanding athletes of Cao Bang province to participate in larger-scale tournaments.
