An Giang province's amateur dance festival took place over two nights, May 14 and 15, at Trung Nu Vuong Square, with the participation of localities: Long Xuyen City, Chau Doc City, Tinh Bien Town, Tan Chau Town, An Phu District, Phu Tan, Thoai Son, Chau Phu, Chau Thanh.

The organization of the Non-Professional Dance Festival aims to continue to maintain, contribute to preserving, conserving and promoting the typical dance art of ethnic groups in An Giang; at the same time, honor the beauty in the diversity and richness of Vietnamese dance art on the basis of the harmonious combination of tradition, contemporary and modernity. This is also an opportunity for young choreographers and dancers to learn, exchange experiences, in order to improve the creative capacity, staging and performance of the core movement at the grassroots level, as well as orient the development of dance art in the cultural and artistic movement, gradually developing and popularizing dance art among the masses...
