Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen delivered the opening speech of the training course.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration Le Thi Hoang Yen affirmed: The course is organized with the aim of equipping knowledge and skills on digital transformation in professional work, state management, and improving digital capacity. Thereby, contributing to the effective implementation of the Party, State, and industry's policies and guidelines; strengthening connections, sharing, and exchanging experiences of units in the entire sports industry to meet the requirements of digital transformation in the current period.
Also according to Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen: In the coming time, to implement Resolution 57 of the Central Committee on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation and the Digital Transformation Program of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Sports Administration identifies a number of important tasks in digital transformation, which are:
It is necessary to complete and operate the digital database of the sports industry; unify and integrate data on athletes, coaches, competition results, facilities and mass sports movements; promote the application of artificial intelligence, big data and smart analysis in training, selection and management of high-performance sports; develop online platforms, competition schedules, training and popularization of sports movements, creating conditions for people to participate in training more conveniently; ensure network safety and security to protect the industry's information assets; promote cooperation with ministries, branches, localities and enterprises...
To achieve the above goals, it is necessary to have a strong enough human resource in information technology and digital transformation in the field of sports and physical training to apply, operate, research, innovate, and develop advanced sports technology. Deputy Director Le Thi Hoang Yen emphasized.
