In his opening remarks, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the focus of this session will be legislative work. Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the explanation, acceptance and revision of 7 draft laws, including: Law on Capital City (amended); Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Property Auction; Law on Social Insurance (amended); Road Law; Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization; Law on Organization of People's Courts (amended). The National Assembly Chairman said that on the basis of the submitted policies, there have been profound changes in both content and legislative techniques. Therefore, it is recommended that the National Assembly Standing Committee actively contribute opinions and ensure the quality of draft laws before submitting them to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 7th Session. Notably, at this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee plans to spend one day, March 18, to organize question-and-answer activities for two groups of issues under the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance. In which, the group of issues in the financial sector focuses on the following contents: management and supervision of insurance business activities and service activities in the life insurance business sector; appraisal and licensing of companies providing financial services; implementation of laws on lottery, casino betting and electronic games with prizes, etc. The group of questions in the field of diplomacy focused on the following contents: protection of Vietnamese citizens abroad, violations of the law by Vietnamese citizens abroad and foreigners in Vietnam, protection of the rights and legitimate interests of Vietnamese fishermen; activities to promote and advertise Vietnamese tourism to the world; solutions to strengthen the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity in diplomatic activities...
