Opening of the preparatory session of the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

The Presidium of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Chairing and directing the Congress were comrades: Nghiem Xuan Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Attending the preparatory session were leaders of Central Party Committees, local Departments and 396 official delegates representing more than 74,000 party members in the entire provincial Party Committee.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board; approved the official Congress program, the Congress's working regulations, the Congress's internal rules and guidelines for delegates' activities; announced the Delegate Groups and the discussion location and implemented a number of tasks and contents in the official Congress session.

Delegates approved the Congress's agenda, Congress's working regulations, and Congress rules.

Accordingly, the Presidium consists of 11 comrades: Nghiem Xuan Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Ha, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Lam Dong, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee;

Nguyen Tien Duc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Tran Thu Mai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Chamaléa Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Major General Nguyen Huu Phuoc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Colonel Nguyen Tuy, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command.

The Secretariat includes 3 comrades: Nguyen Thanh Ha, Provincial Party Committee member, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office (Head of the delegation); Nguyen Quynh Nga, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union; Chau Thi Thanh Ha, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Phan Rang Ward Party Committee.

The Delegate Qualification Examination Board consists of 5 comrades: Nguyen Tien Duc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee (Head of the Board); Ngo Thi Bich Thao, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; Mau Thai Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; Comrade Vo Chi Vuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Ta Hong Quang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Inspector of the province.

Delegates take roll call before entering the preparatory session.

Comrade Lam Dong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, on behalf of the Congress Presidium, approved the Congress's working program (including the preparatory session and the official session). Comrade Nguyen Tien Duc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, on behalf of the Congress Presidium, presented the Congress's working regulations and Congress rules.

The Congress Presidium instructed the division of discussion groups at the Congress in the afternoon of the same day. Accordingly, 396 official delegates attending the Congress were divided into 10 groups led by members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, to discuss and give opinions on the documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress and the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

Before the opening of the Preparatory Session, delegates attending the Congress laid wreaths at Hon Dung Martyrs Cemetery and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Tram Huong Tower Shrine.
