Opening of the preparatory session of the 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030

On the afternoon of September 23, at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Convention Center, the 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, held a preparatory session.

The Congress was chaired by comrades: Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province.

Before the preparatory session, the Congress delegation offered flowers and incense at the Uncle Ho Statue at the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site.

Attending the Congress were leaders of departments and bureaus under the Central Party Committees; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and 415 official delegates representing 136,000 party members.

Before the preparatory session, the delegation attending the 1st Congress of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Uncle Ho Temple, Minh Xuan Ward; offered incense and flowers at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs of Tuyen Quang Province.

At the Tan Trao special national relic site, the delegation offered incense and flowers at Na Nua Pavilion, Tan Trao Communal House, Uncle Ho Statue in Tan Trao, and the Memorial Site of President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors.

The comrades chaired the preparatory session.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors, heroic martyrs, the delegation vows to forever have faith in the Party's leadership, follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho; always strive to study and follow Uncle Ho's example; promote the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, unite, and be determined to break through, create new development achievements, and successfully implement the goals and tasks set forth in the Congress Resolution.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected: the Presidium; the Secretariat; the Delegate Qualification Examination Board. Accordingly, the delegates elected the Congress Presidium consisting of 22 comrades; the Secretariat consisting of 3 comrades; and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board consisting of 5 comrades.

The Presidium includes comrades: Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province.

Delegates voted to elect the Congress Presidium.

Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, reported on the synthesis of opinions on the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Next, the Congress Presidium approved the program, rules and regulations of the Congress; reported on the synthesis of opinions and discussions on the documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, and drafted documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Tomorrow (September 24), the Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee will hold its official session.
