Free medical examination for meritorious people and people with special difficulties in Gia Vien district

Participating in the medical examination and health consultation session were Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors, Masters, and leading specialists working at Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Central Lung Hospital, Vinmec Hospital; Central Cardiovascular Hospital, Xanh Pon Hospital, Gia Vien Medical Center, etc.

At Gia Vien District Medical Center, more than 1,800 people, including Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, people with revolutionary contributions, and local people, received medical examinations and health consultations.

The meritorious people and people in especially difficult circumstances were examined by a team of highly specialized doctors from the Ninh Binh Medical Club in Hanoi and their friends for general internal examination; surgical examination; ear, nose, throat examination; and paraclinical examination (ultrasound, electrocardiogram, X-ray).

Doctors have advised on health care, prevention and control of some common diseases; diseases are diagnosed with high-tech equipment and machines. In cases where patients need further treatment, doctors will refer them to higher-level hospitals for timely treatment. In particular, if patients have financial difficulties when going to higher-level hospitals for treatment, the Gia Vien Association in Hanoi will continue to accompany and share difficulties with patients.

At the same time, the medical team and doctors combine propaganda to help people understand self-care skills; how to implement a daily nutritional regimen; build a living environment that ensures food safety, and prevents epidemics, especially in hot weather conditions like today.

Also at the program, the Organizing Committee presented gifts of health protection products and 2 million VND in cash to 3 heroic Vietnamese mothers; presented gifts and 500,000 VND in cash to 56 wounded and sick soldiers and gifts were given to people coming for medical examination.

All funds are supported by businesses, individuals from the Gia Vien Association in Hanoi, the Ninh Binh Doctors Club and friends in Hanoi.

Over the years, the Gia Vien Association in Hanoi, the Ninh Binh Physicians Club and friends in Hanoi have always had many activities towards their homeland. In particular, the annual medical examination and health consultation activities have contributed to the locality in taking care of the health of policy beneficiaries, meritorious people, poor households, etc. Through that, many local people have been examined, consulted, and given timely instructions for treatment, disease prevention, health protection and improvement, contributing to the good implementation of social security work in the locality.

This is an activity with many practical meanings, demonstrating the morality of "Repaying gratitude"; "When drinking water, remember its source", deeply expressing gratitude to the families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and heroic Vietnamese mothers, so that each person and each family can have a better life.
