Just the story of collecting scrap to repair the pagoda, which is still told by the monks in the pagoda, is a miracle. There are also many statues in the Linh Phuoc Pagoda grounds, each with its own unique features. The most unique is the life-like wax statue of Venerable Minh Ha Duc, who was the abbot of Linh Phuoc Pagoda from 1959 to 1985. Information at Linh Phuoc Pagoda shows that Venerable Minh Ha Duc was buried in the pagoda grounds after his death. (Source: ivivu) |
In 2010, the monks in the temple started to build a new stupa and moved the remains of monk Minh Ha Duc, only to be surprised to discover that the remains of monk Minh Ha Duc were still intact. And since 2011, the wax statue of monk Minh Ha Duc has been placed in the main hall; combined with the images of the excavation of monk Minh Ha Duc's remains still preserved in the temple, it has unintentionally created an even more fascinating and mysterious story surrounding this already unique temple.
