Considered the "Green Pearl" of Ha Tinh province, Vu Quang National Park - Asean Heritage Park is a common home to many species of animals and plants with a diverse ecosystem.
Vu Quang National Park embraces the entire Ngan Truoi basin - a majestic river in the middle of the Truong Son range. In the upstream, Ngan Truoi River is likened to a giant snake winding through rugged mountains. In the downstream of this river, Ngan Truoi Lake was formed in late 2017, after 8 years of construction, becoming the 3rd largest reservoir in Vietnam. With an area of ​​about 40km2, Ngan Truoi Lake not only supplies water for agricultural production, industry, aquaculture, daily life, ensuring the ecological environment but is also an area with a charming river landscape among the mountains.
