According to initial information, at around 4:00 a.m. on April 9, the domestic water pipeline from the main pipeline (National Highway 50, section in Zone 1, Cho Gao town, Cho Gao district) to Hoa Dinh and Xuan Dong communes (Cho Gao district) broke at the connection point.
Water from the pipeline gushed out, overflowing onto the road, flooding several houses in Cho Gao town. The incident was discovered by local residents and they promptly reported it to the water pipeline management unit to cut off the water.
Due to a water pipe burst, part of Xuan Dong and Hoa Dinh communes have had their water supply temporarily cut off to fix the problem.
After the incident occurred, Tien Giang Water Supply Company Limited urgently sent forces to fix the problem.
According to the leader of Tien Giang Water Supply Company, after receiving the information, the unit closed the water valve to carry out repairs. Accordingly, this HDPE D200 and D250 water pipeline provides water to several hundred households in Hoa Dinh and Xuan Dong communes.
The location of the incident is the connection point to the main water pipeline. On the afternoon of April 9, the unit will complete the repair work and return water supply to normal for people in Hoa Dinh and Xuan Dong communes. This is an unexpected incident, so the company is negotiating with affected households to fix it.
