Construction to expand Thuy Van Square needs to be expedited.

The Vung Tau Investment and Construction Project Management Board is urgently implementing the expansion of Thuy Van Square with a total capital of nearly 95 billion VND.

On October 2nd, Mr. Doan Hai Linh, Director of the Vung Tau Area Investment and Construction Project Management Board, stated that the board is urgently implementing the expansion of Thuy Van Square (Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) at land plots No. 165 and 165A on Thuy Van Street.

The project has a total investment of nearly 95 billion VND, including over 25 billion VND for compensation and over 53.2 billion VND for construction. The project includes a new square covering more than 52,000 m², a surrounding 16m wide road, a green space system, lighting, parking lots, and rest areas.

Previously, the Prime Minister approved the reclamation of nearly 36,000 square meters of national defense land in this area to serve the project. It is expected that by the end of this year, Thuy Van Square will be completed, creating a modern public space for major events and contributing to the overall completion of the Thuy Van road renovation project.
