Inauguration of the Ethnic Hotel

In Hanoi , the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions held the inauguration ceremony for the Ethnic Minorities Hotel. This was one of the projects selected for simultaneous inauguration on December 19th, along with many others, to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The Ethnic Hotel project comprises 4 basement levels and 24 above-ground floors, a modern multi-functional complex including a hotel, conference hall, service and commercial offices, and serviced apartments for rent. The building features a modern architectural style, inspired by the rhythm of terraced rice fields and high mountains. The entire investment of VND 1,096 billion for the project is 100% funded from sources outside the state budget.
To ensure the project is utilized effectively and for its intended purpose, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religion Dao Ngoc Dung suggested that the hotel and investor should prioritize providing the best possible service to the assigned target groups and sectors, specifically ethnic minorities and religious communities. Furthermore, an effective combination of professional service and continuous improvement of facilities is necessary. The hotel's amenities and hygiene must be absolutely clean and safe.
The Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions also noted that management and operation need to be carried out synchronously and smoothly in all stages, effectively meeting the needs of those being served. Hotels need a smart business strategy, focusing on promotion and customer care..., thereby generating better revenue and making a stable contribution to the State budget through taxes and fees, creating an important resource for the overall development of the country.
Hue International General Hospital inaugurated.

Hue International General Hospital Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony for Hue International General Hospital at 15 Hanoi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward. This project is a celebration of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hue City.
The inauguration ceremony of Hue International General Hospital was selected as one of the locations for a nationwide live television broadcast, during the groundbreaking, inauguration, and technical opening ceremonies of projects and works celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen, Deputy Director General of Vietnam News Agency Nguyen Tuan Hung, along with representatives from various ministries and agencies and leaders of Hue city.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan emphasized that Hue International General Hospital is a project of significant importance to the development of healthcare in the city in particular, and the Central and Central Highlands regions in general. As a center for specialized medical care for the whole country and the region, Hue City has a system of reputable hospitals, medical training facilities, and a team of leading experts and doctors. The commissioning of Hue International General Hospital further affirms the goal of building Hue City into a high-quality, modern healthcare center, befitting its status as a centrally-governed city, contributing to improving the quality of medical services, promoting the application of science and technology, and reducing the burden on the public healthcare system.
Hue International General Hospital, with a total investment of over 2.3 trillion VND, boasts 16 above-ground floors, 2 basement floors, a total usable area of over 20,000 m², and a capacity of over 260 beds, providing patients and their families with comfortable care and rest throughout their treatment and recovery process. The overall design is modern and integrated, prioritizing green spaces, privacy, and convenience, aiming for a safe, friendly, and humane healthcare environment where patients receive not only treatment but also comprehensive physical and mental care.
The hospital is built and operated according to the modern "Hospital-Hotel" model. This trend has been successfully implemented in many countries with developed healthcare systems such as Singapore and European countries, where combining specialized medical treatment with high-end accommodation and relaxation spaces enhances the patient experience and recovery effectiveness. With this orientation, the hospital is considered a pioneering "Hospital-Hotel" model in the Central region, contributing to bringing international standards of healthcare closer to the local people.
The hospital is expected to contribute to improving medical examination and treatment capacity, creating conditions for people in Hue and other provinces and cities in the region to access modern medical services right on-site; while also sharing the pressure on the public health system. In the long term, the hospital aims to meet healthcare needs according to international standards, expanding to the Southeast Asian region.

In Tam Hop commune, the Management Board for Investment and Construction of Irrigation Project 1 held the inauguration ceremony for the Ban Mong Reservoir headworks complex, phase 1, in Nghe An province.
The Ban Mong Reservoir Project was approved in 2009 with the task of providing irrigation water for 18,858 hectares along the Hieu River, including 4,551 hectares with gravity irrigation and the remainder with pumped irrigation; supplying water to the Ca River during the dry season at approximately 22 m3/s; combining electricity generation with irrigation with an installed capacity of 45 MW; creating a water source for industry, domestic use, and livestock farming; aquaculture and environmental improvement; and partially reducing flooding downstream of the Hieu River.
The Ban Mong reservoir is the first irrigation project to research and apply fly ash, a waste product of thermal power plants, to conventional concrete. In fact, the project consumed approximately 22,000 tons of fly ash, replacing about 30% of the cement used. This not only limited environmental impact but also accelerated construction progress and reduced investment costs by approximately 85 billion VND.
To date, the entire headworks complex (including the main dam, auxiliary dam, spillway, deep discharge culvert combined with sand discharge, hydropower plant, and water intake culvert), with Project Management Board 1 as the investor, has been basically completed. The quality of the works meets technical requirements, conforms to applicable regulations and standards, and the approved design documents. Eight pumping stations drawing water from the Hieu River, with the Department of Agriculture and Environment as the investor, have been completed, ensuring irrigation water supply for 3,098 hectares.
Also on the morning of the same day, in Hai Loc commune, the People's Committee of Nghe An province, in coordination with the International Transport Development Investment Joint Stock Company (ITID), held the groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project to build and operate the Cua Lo deep-water port.
The Cua Lo Deepwater Port construction and operation project is a strategic transportation infrastructure project, identified as a catalyst for socio-economic development in Nghe An province and the North Central region. The project is invested in by the International Transport Development Investment Joint Stock Company (ITID) and is located in Hai Loc commune.
The project is designed to accommodate vessels with a deadweight tonnage of 50,000 - 100,000 DWT, with a 32-hectare port hinterland area and a total investment of approximately 9,000 billion VND, including breakwaters. The project is the core of a modern port-logistics-industrial complex, playing a crucial role as a gateway for trade in Nghe An and the North Central region.
Upon completion, the project will seamlessly connect with key national transportation routes such as National Highway 1A, National Highway 7C, the North-South Expressway, the high-speed railway, the Vinh-Thanh Thuy Expressway, the coastal road, Vinh International Airport, and domestic and international shipping routes.
The project, once operational, will not only enhance import and export capacity, especially for oversized and overweight cargo, but also create a special appeal for investment, particularly FDI; at the same time, it will create many jobs for the locality and further strengthen the development of the marine economy.
