If in 1949, Vietnam had about 10 newspapers with about 300 journalists, by the end of 2023, the whole country will have 6 main multimedia communication agencies, 127 newspaper agencies, 671 magazine agencies, 72 radio and television agencies and over 40,000 journalists...
"Time gradually passes with the flow of history, most of the lecturers and students of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School have passed away. Although it is late, we are still trying to honor and remember a generation of pioneering resistance journalists on the press front who devoted their whole lives, contributing to the glorious tradition and vitality of our country's revolutionary press," said journalist Le Quoc Minh.
Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh affirmed that the inauguration of the project deeply demonstrates the sense of responsibility, pride, and gratitude for the contributions of previous generations who have devoted themselves to the revolutionary cause of the Party, to the aspiration for national independence and freedom, and to the happiness of the people.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province Trinh Viet Hung presented certificates of merit from the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province to the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group for their outstanding contributions to the project of renovating the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School relic.
