On the morning of August 19, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province held the inauguration ceremony of the road to Phan Thiet airport phase 2 (Mui Ne ward); the launching ceremony of the Industrial Park Workers' Housing Project, the launching ceremony of the Resettlement Area of the North-South High-speed Railway Project in Ham Kiem commune.

The project of the road to Phan Thiet airport phase 2 has a length of 3.6km. The starting point of the route is the intersection with Vo Nguyen Giap road at Km7+700, the end point is the gate of the civil aviation area.

Construction started on January 12, 2024 and was completed on July 15, 2025. The project has a total investment of more than 117 billion VND, with investment capital from the provincial budget.

The project has a roadbed width of 36m, a road surface width of 13.5m, a median strip width of 12.5m, and a sidewalk width of 5m on each side. In addition, the road has an asphalt concrete surface on a crushed stone layer, and a brick-paved sidewalk structure. The project also has a drainage system, trees, lighting, and fire-fighting water supply.

The Ham Kiem II Industrial Park Workers Housing Project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for Binh Tan Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the investment with an area of over 31 hectares. The project includes 20 apartment blocks with over 5,550 houses for workers and 72 commercial houses.

The workers' housing area also has social infrastructure such as: three kindergartens, one primary school, one secondary school, one clinic, one cultural house, a sports ground and a green park. Up to now, the investor has started construction of lot B2 with an area of over 4,300m² including one basement and nine upper floors with a total floor area of 21,390m², a scale of 280 apartments. The investor is also constructing the infrastructure of the workers' housing area.

The resettlement area of the North-South high-speed railway project has a scale of 3.5 hectares, with 129 plots planned for about 516 people, with a total implementation cost of about 45 billion VND. The high-speed railway route passing through Ham Kiem commune is 13.4 km long.
