Survey and monitor the Ca Mau – Dat Mui expressway project.

On the afternoon of December 16th, Huynh Quoc Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, along with relevant officials, visited, inspected, and encouraged workers at the Ca Mau – Cai Nuoc component project of the Ca Mau – Dat Mui expressway project.

Highly appreciating the efforts of the contractor and construction unit in implementing the construction well from the start of the project, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Huynh Quoc Viet, also said that the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway project is an important project, contributing to promoting socio -economic development of Ca Mau province in particular and the Mekong Delta region in general.

Therefore, right from the start of construction, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee paid attention to creating the best conditions for contractors and construction units to carry out construction in the locality. The Provincial Party Committee directed the locality to accelerate the mobilization of people to hand over the land, and to date, basically 100% of the land for the main route has been handed over.

Construction workers are working on the Song Doc 2 bridge construction site, part of the Ca Mau – Dat Mui expressway.

Reporting at the survey, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Duy Cuong, Deputy Director of the Southern Truong Son Management Board (Truong Son Construction Corporation), stated that the Ca Mau – Dat Mui expressway project has a length of 81 km, a scale of 4 lanes, two continuous emergency stopping lanes, a design speed of 100 km/h, and is divided into two projects: the Ca Mau – Cai Nuoc project (42 km) and the Cai Nuoc – Dat Mui project (39 km).

The Southern Truong Son Construction Board is the contractor for the Ca Mau – Cai Nuoc component project, with a total length of 42 km. Immediately after the project's commencement, the unit consistently coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to carry out propaganda and land clearance work. Simultaneously, they mobilized equipment, machinery, and personnel to focus on constructing the initial phase items in areas where land had been handed over.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Duy Cuong also stated that the project management board is currently focusing on implementing items such as: service roads, auxiliary works, mixing plants, bored piles, beam casting yards, and pumping sand into some locations to serve construction... Regarding the supply of materials for the project, the supply of sand for leveling and stone is still ensured. The joint venture contractors are still implementing the items according to plan; in particular, the bridges crossing the Doc River are preparing for bored pile construction.

During the inspection, the leaders of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee expressed their hope that the contractor and construction unit would continue to focus manpower and equipment to ensure the project's progress, labor safety, and quality. On this occasion, the leaders of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and the delegation visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to the workers at the construction site.
