Survey of cultural tourism products

(CT) - On May 16, Can Tho City Tourism Development Center coordinated with travel agencies to organize a survey team to develop a cultural tourism program in the city.

There are 15 travel agencies and tourism businesses participating in the delegation, surveying tourist attractions in Cai Rang and Binh Thuy districts: Cai Rang floating market, Hung King Temple and Con Son.

Through the survey, delegates evaluated the products and services imbued with the culture of the river region, the journey has diverse experiences in history, cuisine , traditional music... In which, "the death anniversary on the islet" is a new product put into operation, with investment and cooperation between travel agencies and the home garden in Con Son, creating a complete tour itinerary, complete in terms of service and experience.

The “death anniversary on the islet” tour not only shows the typical culture in the lifestyle of the people in the West, but also contributes to diversifying the tourism product system of Con Son, in addition to community tourism activities and agricultural tourism. However, to make the product more attractive and appealing, representatives of the units said that it is necessary to invest in more in-depth experiential activities.

Mr. Mai Ngoc Thuyet, Deputy Director of the City Tourism Development Center, said: “Every year, we will coordinate with localities and travel agencies to organize many delegations to survey new products. Through the survey, we will record the opinions of the agencies, step by step with the destinations and travel agencies to complete the product chain; at the same time, build plans to communicate and promote destinations and products to tourists in the coming time.”
