On November 13, at Vinh University, the Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) worked with the Departments of Education and Training and higher education institutions in the Central region to survey the implementation of the Law on Education for the period 2020-2024.
The survey aims to review and evaluate objectively and comprehensively the achieved results, promptly detect difficulties, obstacles, inadequacies, conflicts and overlaps in the implementation of the Lawon Education and related legal policies to propose contents that need to be amended and supplemented in the Law on Education if necessary.

At the same time, study new tasks and regulations in documents of the Party, the National Assembly , the National Assembly Standing Committee, and the Government related to the field of education and training to propose contents that need to be institutionalized in the Law on Education.
Research on the practical development of education and training in the region and the world, the impact of scientific and technological development on future human resource training to propose contents that need to be amended and supplemented in the Law on Education.
At the meeting, representatives of a number of Departments of Education and Training and higher education institutions in the Central region discussed the implementation of the Law on Education in recent times, the positive impacts of the Law on promoting the development of education and training. At the same time, they also assessed the shortcomings, limitations, difficulties, and obstacles in the implementation of the Law on Education in the period of 2020-2024. From there, they proposed solutions to remove difficulties, obstacles, inadequacies, and limitations.

Delegates discuss practical implementation of the Education Law
According to the representative of the Legal Department, Ministry of Education and Training, clarifying the results of implementing the Law on Education in localities and educational institutions is very important in assessing the advantages and limitations of the Law; from there, there are important proposals to further improve the provisions of the Law.
Through the survey, the Ministry of Education and Training will collect practical information to supplement the Government's report on reviewing and evaluating the implementation of the Law on Education submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee, as a basis for proposing and recommending amendments and supplements to the provisions of the Law and related documents (if any).
