Spreading patriotism through art.
Nguyen Thi My Linh, the valedictorian of the 2025 Drama, Film and Television Acting program at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Film, chose to express her gratitude through her academic efforts. Throughout her years of study, Linh not only excelled academically but also actively participated in youth union activities, student associations, and charitable work. For My Linh, these activities were a way for her to live a meaningful "student life." "Witnessing the development of the city and the country, I increasingly appreciate the value of peace and happiness that I have and become more aware of my responsibility to contribute to my homeland," My Linh shared.
For this young woman, studying and training is not only for her personal future but also a way to contribute to the overall development of the country. As a young actress, My Linh understands that her roles not only entertain the audience but also help preserve national memory, spreading gratitude and patriotism in everyone. She always aspires to perform in plays about Vietnamese history. Therefore, My Linh strives to improve not only her acting skills but also her historical knowledge, emotional depth, and humanistic approach to each role, so that each character comes alive.
Continuously improve your knowledge.
Le Kim Chuc, a fifth-year student at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in Ho Chi Minh City, chose to express her patriotism through community service activities, from volunteering to take photos for a charity program during the Mid-Autumn Festival to organizing games for children and cancer patients. "I think the spirit of dedication doesn't need to start with grand gestures; if each young person strives to improve themselves every day and makes positive contributions, society will change for the better," Chuc shared.

For Kim Chúc, peace is not something that comes naturally; it is the result of the blood and sacrifices of her ancestors. From the perspective of a medical student, she believes the most practical way to show gratitude is to continuously improve her knowledge. This is not only a requirement but also a responsibility towards the lives of others. "Not doing anything harmful and being a compassionate doctor are two principles I always strive for," Kim Chúc said.
Connecting the past with the journey of the present.

Huynh Anh Phuong Thao (right in the photo) participates in the "Phu Nhuan Journey - Innovating Every Day" campaign to promote the local culture and traditions.
For Huynh Anh Phuong Thao, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nhuan Ward and Secretary of the Phu Nhuan Ward Youth Union, she chooses to express gratitude to her ancestors through her work with the Youth Union and Associations at the grassroots level. Having been involved in Youth Union work since 10th grade as the Secretary of the Phu Nhuan High School Youth Union, and later working with the local Youth Union, Phuong Thao has advised local government leaders on implementing many activities to educate about traditions, organize trips to historical sites, and digitize historical sites with bilingual resources. Phuong Thao said: "During the Covid-19 pandemic, my unit organized the donation of 110 tablets and 400 sets of textbooks to members with special circumstances. I also participated in promoting clean-up activities, planting flowers along the railway line, implementing the 'Railway - Flag Line' model, donating 1,000 national flags, and replacing house number plates for households along the railway line in the area."
Working in different fields, the common thread among these three young people is how they express their patriotism and gratitude through concrete actions. They choose to continue the patriotic traditions of their ancestors with a sense of responsibility, dynamism, and creativity, contributing to the building of the nation.
