The rammed earth house, the art of brocade embroidery, the experience of going to the forest and many other beautiful features of life in the highland villages of Binh Lieu are typical cultural features that are being promoted and realized into unique tourism products.
"In addition to the landscape and nature, the cultural beauty and daily life of ethnic minorities are extremely rich and unique resources. These are the living spaces of people for many generations in the villages, next to terraced fields, or the vast cinnamon forests... All of these create attraction, becoming a source of raw materials, a "sleeping treasure", which is being exploited" - Mr. Mac Ngoc Diep, Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Binh Lieu district, said.

Therefore, Binh Lieu district has recently agreed to encourage businesses to promote that value in tourism development. These are experience products, building traditional rammed earth houses and walking to experience forest roads in the villages of Song Mooc, Khe Tien, Dong Van commune...
The product was developed by Binh Lieu Community Tourism Company in collaboration with the locals. The first unique and special feature that was exploited was the rammed earth house as well as the house-building art of the Dao ethnic group in Dong Van commune. First, two rammed earth houses were painstakingly recreated by the family of Mr. Duong Phuc Thim (Khe Tien village, Dong Van commune) as a place for tourists to visit and stay.
This is a house built in the traditional style, featuring the art of making rammed earth houses. This type of homestay has traditional house architecture with rammed earth walls, yin-yang tiled roofs and decorations and items like traditional houses. The difference is that the walls are made more carefully, 30-40cm thick, durable, and crack-free, creating a cool space in the house in the summer and warm in the winter. To turn traditional rammed earth houses into homestays for tourists to stay, the house has also been significantly improved in terms of equipment and amenities, especially the toilet area.

"This house is in a beautiful location, with a good view, cool in the summer, warm in the winter, showing the unique architectural art and ingenuity of the ethnic people. If visitors are interested in art, the secret to building the house is also something we will reveal to visitors" - Mr. Thim shared.
It is known that participating in the construction and learning the secrets of building traditional houses of the Dao people are also recreated for tourists to experience. Tourists will experience and be "guided" in the construction directly. When this house is finished, they will move to another house. This is an adventure tourism product, both introducing beautiful scenery and wild nature, and vividly recreating and simulating the life and rich experiences of the people.

Currently, the above tourism products are being urgently realized, soon put into operation in the tourist season at the end of 2024, promising to attract a large number of domestic and international visitors. What Binh Lieu district needs to pay attention to is to soon complete detailed planning, promote and encourage people to actively participate, which is also the most effective way to promote cultural beauty.
