Lang Son province has implemented a science and technology project to assess the current situation and propose solutions for managing, producing, and developing several potential agricultural products according to Halal standards. The research aims to determine the ability of local products to meet Halal standards, thereby developing appropriate development directions.

Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Cong Hoang, the project leader, presented a summary of the research results.
During the research process, the research team surveyed producers, businesses, regulatory agencies, and consumers to assess the current state of production and the barriers to developing Halal products. Based on this, solutions regarding production organization, quality management, brand building, and market development were proposed.
A key outcome of the project is the support for Halal certification of three agricultural products: Maca, black jelly, and star anise essential oil. This provides an important practical basis for expanding agricultural production according to Halal standards and developing other potential local products.
From a scientific and technological perspective, this project not only supports product certification but also develops solutions to help businesses and producers gradually meet Halal standards. This forms the basis for enhancing the value of agricultural products and expanding opportunities to access domestic and international markets.
