A series of photos capturing the moment when many tourists hurriedly moved when a heavy rain suddenly hit the Hang Mua lotus pond area ( Ninh Binh ) was shared on social networks recently and attracted much attention.
Some people wearing ao dai, yếm dresses, ao tu than, etc. quickly "ran away" in a wet state from the rain.
Below the post, netizens left many humorous comments, expressing sympathy for the "muses"' passion for taking photos to the point of forgetting the weather.
“Taking photos in the rain like this is beautiful and romantic. This concept cannot be taken at any time,” said Dung Luong humorously.
“I feel sorry for the muses, they spent so much time on makeup and changing clothes but it was raining so hard. But the photos in the rain are just as beautiful as the photos in the lotus pond,” shared Trong Anh.
“The rain was so sudden that no one had time to take shelter, but usually after the rain the sky will clear up and the photos will be more beautiful. This is definitely an unforgettable memory in the lives of the muses,” commented the nickname Mèo Xinh.

Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Dinh Van Trung (local photographer) - owner of the series of photos of tourists "running from the rain" at Hang Mua lotus pond said that the humorous moment above was recorded on the afternoon of July 12.
“At that time, the sky only showed a slight sign of rain, but then a heavy rain suddenly poured down. Because the lotus pond area was quite large and there were many people taking pictures, most people did not have time to react. Some people who moved closer to the shelter were already soaked,” Trung recounted.
The young photographer said that after about 15 minutes, the rain gradually stopped and the sun came out. The lotus pond was still beautiful after the rain, so tourists continued to visit and take pictures.
According to many visitors who have been to Hang Mua, the weather in this area is unpredictable. Therefore, if you have the opportunity to come here, you should pay attention to the weather forecast and prepare additional accessories to protect you from the sun and rain such as hats and umbrellas.
Mr. Trung suggests that the ideal time for tourists to take photos at the lotus pond is in the morning, from 6 to 7 am. At this time, the weather is cool, the sunlight is gentle, and tourists can easily take photos with "thousands of likes".
About 100km from Hanoi, Hang Mua (at the foot of Mua Mountain) is located in the Trang An world heritage complex, in Khe Dau Ha village, Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh.
This is an attractive tourist destination, attracting a large number of visitors every year, especially in the summer (from May to August) because at this time, the lotus ponds in the area bloom, spreading their fragrance.
Visitors can visit Hang Mua at many times of the year, but the most suitable is still spring (from January to March) when the weather is cool and there are many festivals, or summer (from May to August) to see the blooming, fragrant lotus ponds and the long stretches of ripe rice fields.
Every lotus season, tourists from many provinces and cities flock here to see the flowers and take photos. The highlight and difference of Hang Mua lotus pond is that it is surrounded by mountains, rice fields and ancient architecture. Amidst the green of trees and mountains, each lotus flower with pink and white colors makes the space appear poetic, creating an ideal check-in scene.
