Commencement of social housing project for workers of Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park, phase 1

On the morning of August 19, Hai Ha Industrial Park Vietnam Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for a social housing project to serve workers at Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park.

Quang Ha Commune , Quang Ninh Province - Phase 1. This is a key project to provide stable and comfortable accommodation for workers working at Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park and neighboring areas .

Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park was established in 2014, and currently has about 14,000 workers. In order to meet the housing needs of workers working in the industrial park, in recent times, Quang Ninh province has directed departments, branches and localities to actively coordinate with the investor, Hai Ha Vietnam Industrial Park Company Limited, to resolutely implement the social housing project for workers in Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park - Phase 1.

The project has a total investment of 638 billion VND; the construction scale is 6 apartment buildings with 6 floors with about 700 apartments, expected to meet the housing needs of about 1,500 people. The total construction floor area is about 53,000m² on a land area of nearly 3.5 hectares.

The groundbreaking of the project not only marks an important milestone in the development of the industrial park, but also has profound socio -economic significance, contributing to realizing the major policy of the Party and State on developing social housing for workers and laborers.

This is a vivid demonstration of Quang Ninh province's determination to develop industrial parks in a sustainable direction, harmoniously connecting with urban areas, services and synchronous social infrastructure, always putting workers at the center of development.

Currently, the Company is implementing a part of Phase 1 of the Project with a scale of 244 apartments. In particular, for social housing, the area of apartments ranges from 42 to 87m², initially meeting the housing needs of about 700 people.
