The project has a total investment of over 641 billion VND on an area of approximately 7.07 hectares. The Phu Ha New Urban Area includes 95 commercial townhouses and 125 terraced houses with various sizes. The MK Central City Social Housing Area covers an area of 5,694 m2, with a height of 16 floors, comprising two twin towers with 350 apartments. According to the investor, as of now, the project has completed land compensation and clearance for over 96% of the total project area.

In the coming period, the Investor will continue to coordinate with relevant departments to complete 100% of the compensation and land clearance work to simultaneously implement the construction of the technical infrastructure system. The Investor is expected to complete the construction of the technical infrastructure system in the third quarter of 2024 and simultaneously proceed with the investment in the MK Central City social housing project.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: The Phu Ha New Urban Area Project is the first project implemented by the Provincial People's Committee under the mechanism of decentralization, allowing the People's Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City to manage and implement urban area projects with a scale of less than 20 hectares. Investing in this project, as well as attracting urban development projects in the province, aims to successfully implement Resolution No. 25-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on "Developing urban economy , with the focus on building Phan Rang-Thap Cham City into a smart city, creating momentum for socio-economic development of the province by 2025, with a vision to 2030"; and at the same time contribute to achieving the goal of "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial park workers in the period 2021-2030" according to Decision No. 338/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

To ensure the project's construction is carried out safely, with quality and on schedule, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to continue focusing resources to accelerate the construction progress, completing the project and putting it into operation according to the set plan with the highest quality. At the same time, he requested that consulting units and contractors strictly adhere to construction standards and regulations; ensuring the quality, safety of the construction, labor safety, and environmental hygiene. He also requested that relevant local departments and agencies continue to cooperate, support, and create the best conditions, promptly advising on and effectively resolving difficulties and obstacles for the investor so that the project's construction can be carried out smoothly and completed on schedule.
