Tuyen Quang-Ha Giang expressway project with a length of 105km, with a total investment of 10 trillion dong, is decentralized by the Government to Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces as governing agencies, implemented in the form of public investment. in the Socio-Economic Development and Recovery Program.
This is a very important project for socio-economic development, national defense and security, contributing to perfecting the transport infrastructure system in the northern mountainous region in general and the two provinces of Tuyen Quang. The Tuyen Quang-Ha Giang expressway project through Ha Giang province is a group A traffic project, included in the road traffic network plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister. and decentralize Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee to approve investment projects; assigned to Ha Giang Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as an investor.
This is the first expressway of Ha Giang province, with large investment scale and complex technical standards. The project has a total length of nearly 27,5km, the first point connecting the section through Tuyen Quang province, at the end of Vinh Tuy bridge in the territory of Vinh Tuy town, Bac Quang district (Ha Giang), the end point is at Km27+. 480, Tan Quang commune, Bac Quang district.
The project is divided into 3 construction and installation bidding packages with a total estimated cost of more than 2.582 billion VND. In which, the contractor VINACONEX is the winning unit to execute the 03-XL package with a total construction value of nearly 900 billion VND, the implementation time is 30 months. The bidding package has a rationale for Km0-Km12+500 passing through the territory of Vinh Tuy town and 3 communes of Vinh Hao, Hung An, and Quang Minh.
Once completed, the project will make an important contribution to the formation of an economic development corridor from the capital Hanoi and the Red River Delta, along the Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway and the Tuyen Quang-Phu Tho expressway. to Ha Giang, meeting the increasing demand for travel and freight transport, solving the traffic congestion between Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the area. associated with ensuring national security and enhancing the comprehensive cooperation relationship between Vietnam and China.
