On July 28 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Technology Festival 2025 - Conviction 2025 was officially launched. The event was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Electronic Communications Association with the core being the Ho Chi Minh City Blockchain Association (HBA). Conviction 2025 promises to open up breakthrough opportunities for two key technology industries in the National Strategic Technology List: Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In Vietnam, blockchain technology is receiving attention from the Government and has a clear development direction. For blockchain to truly enter life, it is important not only for policy, but also for users' ability to understand and use the technology.
With that goal, Ho Chi Minh City Technology Festival - Conviction 2025 was born, carrying the mission of connecting technological knowledge with society, popularizing blockchain knowledge, promoting widespread application and opening up opportunities to position Ho Chi Minh City to become an International Financial Center in Southeast Asia.
Conviction 2025 will take place on August 9-10, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City with the theme "The era of resonance between Blockchain and AI." The event aims to popularize blockchain knowledge, promote the application of blockchain technology in life, and bring Ho Chi Minh City closer to the goal of becoming the International Financial Center of Southeast Asia.
Conviction 2025 brings together more than 150 leading speakers, experts and scientists in the fields of Blockchain, digital technology and venture capital, from prestigious domestic and foreign organizations.
From Vietnam, the event was attended by representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, and founders in the blockchain industry in Vietnam such as Nguyen The Vinh and Le Thanh (Ninety Eight), Victor Tran (Kyber Network), Andy Ho (Sky Mavis) and many other prominent faces.

With an expected scale of attracting 30,000 participants, along with hundreds of scientific presentations from domestic and foreign experts, the event promises to be a top knowledge forum, a golden opportunity to promote the digital economy, digital transformation of the city to call for international investment.", said Mr. Nguyen Quy Hoa, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Communications - Electronics Association.
According to the organizers, Conviction 2025 is a highly specialized event with 50 in-depth research papers with 6 main content axes revolving around the future of blockchain, the intersection between this technology and AI, and practical applications in life along with many trends in developing decentralized financial applications for professional financial institutions.
Accompanying the event are programs to help nurture talent and encourage the development of the younger generation, including talks with students at universities in the Unitour series of activities. In parallel, Conviction 2025 also has a scholarship program sponsored by the Ninety Eight ecosystem.
With a total value of up to 1 billion VND per year, the Ninety Eight scholarship provides financial support and creates conditions for students to access specialized training programs and internships at leading technology enterprises. Thereby, the scholarship contributes to building high-quality human resources, meeting the needs of developing and applying blockchain technology in the era of national digital transformation.
The award ceremony of Thanh Pho Vuon Minh, the first NFT painting competition in Vietnam, will also take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Technology Festival 2025. This is a competition jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Communications and Electronics and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts, pioneering the application of NFT and blockchain technology in the creative arts industry.
Not only does it play a connecting role, Conviction 2025 contributes to positioning Ho Chi Minh City as an international financial center, influential in Southeast Asia and a bright spot of Vietnam on the global technology map.
