Possessing rich tourism potential with its beaches, islands, ecological sites, community-based tourism, and spiritual tourism, Lien Huong commune aims to welcome approximately 600,000 tourists annually during the 2025-2030 term. The increasingly improved transportation infrastructure, including National Highway 1A and the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, and the upcoming high-speed railway project on the North-South axis passing through the commune, will provide convenient connectivity and open up significant opportunities for the local tourism industry.

Lien Huong boasts many outstanding destinations such as: Co Thach beach with its unique seven-colored rock formations, the sacred Co Thach pagoda, and the pristine and romantic Cu Lao Cau island… The locality is actively promoting and developing new tourism products such as: ecotourism, experiences in harmony with nature and environmental protection education at Hon Cau Marine Reserve, agricultural tourism at Phuoc The vineyards and apple orchards, community-based and spiritual tourism… aiming to diversify products, extend the length of stay, and enhance the experience for tourists.

In addition, cultural values, historical relics, and tangible and intangible cultural heritage in the commune are preserved and promoted, such as: Po Dam Tower (Lac Tri village), Phu Son Pagoda (Phu Dien village), Long Huong Village communal house (village 10), Hon Cau Island, etc. Traditional festivals such as Katê and Cau Ngu are restored and organized annually, contributing to preserving the maritime cultural identity and creating a unique mark for Lien Huong tourism.

New development space, unlocking coastal potential.

The first Party Congress of Lien Huong Commune, for the 2025-2030 term, recently concluded, affirmed the political determination and aspiration for innovation of the entire Party Committee, government, and people of the locality, setting the goal of rapid and sustainable growth in the coming period. To realize these goals, Lien Huong has set 14 main targets, focusing on implementing 6 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs, and many key projects during the 2025-2030 term.

The locality will prioritize the implementation of infrastructure projects such as: constructing the Lien Huong - Phuoc The road and bridge, upgrading the Lien Huong - Binh Thanh road, upgrading the N4 and D9.1 roads in Lien Huong, and constructing a coastal protection embankment in Binh Thanh commune (phase 2). These are key projects aimed at expanding development space and promoting inter-regional and inter-district trade connections according to the plan. Simultaneously, focus will be placed on attracting investment into the Lien Huong Commercial Zone and the coastal commercial and service area. The formation of modern commercial and service centers will create momentum for the trade, service, and tourism sectors; and at the same time, create more jobs and increase income for local people.

Lien Huong commune is focusing on mobilizing resources and leveraging support from the province to coordinate efforts in attracting investment in modern commercial and service infrastructure. The locality will renovate and upgrade traditional markets, especially the central Lien Huong market. It will concentrate on developing trade and services along the Lien Huong - Phan Ri Cua coastal roads. Furthermore, the commune will coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to finalize tourism planning, attracting capable businesses to invest in large-scale tourism projects and develop new, attractive services. In particular, it will research the development of the night-time economy linked to marine ecotourism in the Binh Thanh tourist area, connecting the Lien Huong - Phan Ri Cua - Hon Cau coastal tourism route. Alongside this, the locality will review and resolutely address projects that are behind schedule. At the same time, the plan emphasizes the preservation of cultural relics and scenic spots, the development of tourism linked to environmental protection, and the assurance of national defense and security. Mr. Tran Quoc Ve, a resident of Lien Huong commune, expressed his hope: "With these key, groundbreaking solutions and the unity of the government and the people, we hope that Lien Huong commune in the new term will create breakthroughs and improve the economic and cultural lives of its people."

Speaking at the first Party Congress of Lien Huong Commune, term 2025-2030, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council Tieu Hong Phuc affirmed: After the merger, Lien Huong has a wide-open development space, ample land, natural landscapes, islands, traditional craft villages, and rich traditional festivals of coastal residents… These are advantages for the commune to focus on developing key sectors such as: marine economy, trade - services - tourism, renewable energy, and processing of agricultural and seafood products. He requested the locality to proactively coordinate with functional agencies to implement and complete planning, and boldly propose specific mechanisms and policies to attract strategic investors to potential areas such as: Binh Thanh Tourist Area, Lien Huong - Phan Ri Cua coastal route, Hon Cau Conservation Area, and coastal trade and service areas.
