Prosecution of director and accountant of enterprise for illegally buying and selling more than 250 invoices

(QBĐT) - The Economic Police Department, Provincial Police has just issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case, prosecute the accused against Vu Van Xuan, Director and Nguyen Thi Duyen, Accountant of HX Nework Trading and Service Company Limited (in Duc Ninh Commune, Dong Hoi City) and its affiliated branches for the crime of illegal trading of invoices, stipulated in Clause 2, Article 203, Penal Code.

The investigation results determined: During the course of business operations from July 2022 to 2024, Vu Van Xuan established many branches in many provinces and cities to supply and lease labor in industrial parks. To declare tax deductions for the company, Vu Van Xuan and Nguyen Thi Duyen bought and sold 255 invoices without accompanying goods and services from 13 companies nationwide to declare taxes with a value of 106 billion VND (8% VAT), illegally profiting hundreds of millions of VND.

The investigation agency searched the residences and workplaces of Vu Van Xuan and Nguyen Thi Duyen in Quang Binh, Bac Ninh, and Bac Giang provinces; and froze the deposit of 2 billion VND.

Currently, the Economic Police Department of the Provincial Police is continuing to expand the case, investigate, handle and recover related assets.
