Series of events to celebrate Hai Duong - Hai Phong unification day

Many unique cultural and artistic activities are expected to be held to celebrate the Hai Duong - Hai Phong unification day.

The art night "Rang sang Hai Phong " scheduled to be held on the evening of June 30 is a highlight of a series of events at Hai Phong City Theater.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City has informed about the activities to celebrate the announcement ceremony of the resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units, ending the operation of district-level administrative units, establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Fatherland Front Committees of cities, communes, wards, and special zones.

In order to spread the spirit of excitement, arouse pride, strengthen the great national unity, create high consensus and unity among the people, thereby contributing to enhancing the political and social significance of the events, a number of planned celebration activities are organized appropriately under permitted conditions.

The ceremony to announce the merger of Hai Phong City and Hai Duong Province took place at 8:00 a.m. on June 30 at the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Cultural Palace.

The "Bright Hai Phong" art night is a highlight of the series of events, scheduled to be held at 8:00 p.m. on June 30 at Hai Phong City Theater Square and Bach Dang Park (Hai Duong City, Hai Duong Province).

The program featured performances by famous artists with special art performances praising Hai Duong and Hai Phong, especially new songs such as the work "Hai Phong Rising" and was broadcast live on channels and digital platforms of the Hai Phong City Press and Communications Center, Hai Duong Radio and Television Station.

The exhibition of socio-economic development achievements, the fair introducing traditional products and cuisine is expected to be held from June 29 to July 10 in the central strip of Hai Phong city (the central area of ​​the city is about 4 km long, including works such as the Opera House, exhibition center, Tam Bac lake, parks...) and the Eastern Cultural Center (Hai Duong).

From June 28 to July 6, launching activities to celebrate the merger of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city "All people unite towards the new Hai Phong city" throughout the new Hai Phong city.

This activity will be focused at the grassroots level. Each locality will proactively choose suitable locations for each activity (stadiums, village roads for sports activities; cultural houses, village yards, quarters, village gates, People's Committee headquarters for arts and folk games; main roads, parks, school yards for tree planting, flag hanging, billboards...).

Along with that, the city will organize a series of cultural, sports, tourism, family and other activities to celebrate such as organizing a cultural, artistic and sports week to celebrate at the city theater square...
