HNN.VN - On May 9th, the Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Hue City Police Department announced that it had issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, indict and temporarily detain two individuals, and prohibit three others from leaving their place of residence for gambling offenses.

Earlier, at around 10:30 PM on March 15th, the Phong Hoa Ward Police (Phong Dien Town) inspected the house of Mr. Le Dang Doan (born in 1967, residing in Phong Hoa Ward) and discovered five individuals: Le Dang Hoa (born in 1966); Le Dang Bon (born in 1992); Doan Thi (born in 1964); Pham Van Thang (born in 1964); and Bui Quang Tin (born in 1967) engaging in gambling using the dice-shaking method with money at stake.

During the search, the police seized numerous gambling tools and a total of over 20.5 million VND from the gambling den.

The Hue City Police Investigation Agency has issued a decision to initiate a criminal case and prosecute five suspects: Le Dang Hoa, Le Dang Bon, Doan Thi, Pham Van Thang, and Bui Quang Tin, for gambling offenses. Simultaneously, Le Dang Hoa and Le Dang Bon have been temporarily detained, while the remaining three are prohibited from leaving their place of residence.

Authorities are continuing their investigation and expanding the scope to identify all related individuals.
