The Vietnam Festival Binh Thuan 2024 tournament kicks off.

The 2nd Vietnam Festival Binh Thuan 2024 will attract approximately 500 athletes from Vietnam and abroad competing in two distances. The 70.3 km distance includes a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run. The 56.5 km distance includes a 950 m swim, a 45 km bike ride, and a 10.55 km run.

The athletes competed in the following events: swimming, cycling, and running. The swimming started at Bau Trang Lake, while the cycling and running events followed the Hoa Thang and Hoa Phu routes in Bac Binh and Tuy Phong districts, finishing at the Bau Trang Minh Thai Tourist Area.

Following its inaugural season, VietNam FesTrival Binh Thuan received much positive feedback from athletes and experts. For the 2024 season, VietNam FesTrival Binh Thuan promises to continue delivering a professional tournament and a festival for athletes to meet, interact, and share their passion.

This is a large-scale sporting event to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Thuan on April 19, 1975 – April 19, 2024, and to gradually establish it as an annual event for Bac Binh and Tuy Phong districts in particular, and Binh Thuan province in general. The tournament will contribute to promoting the scenic spots of Binh Thuan to friends both domestically and internationally, aiming to realize the policy of building Binh Thuan into a national-level marine sports center.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from March 22-24, 2024. Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam stated: "The Vietnam Festival Binh Thuan 2024 will not only create a professional tournament for athletes and experts, but also serve as an opportunity to promote the image and scenic attractions of Binh Thuan to domestic and international friends."
