The 2025 National U20 and U23 3x3 Basketball Championship kicks off

The 2025 National U20 and U23 3x3 Basketball Championship attracted nearly 200 male and female athletes from 12 units and localities across the country, including: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Air Defense - Air Force (PKKQ), Da Nang, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Yen Bai, Lam Dong, Can Tho, Hau Giang, Soc Trang and Hue City.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the participating units.

In the tournament, the U20 age group has 14 participating teams, including 5 female teams: Hanoi 1, Hanoi 2, Soc Trang, Yen Bai 1, Yen Bai 2 and 9 male teams: Hanoi 1, Hanoi 2, Da Nang, PKKQ PEAK 1, PKKQ PEAK 2, Hau Giang, Binh Thuan 1, Binh Thuan 2 and the host team Hue City.

The U23 age group recorded a larger participation with 20 teams. Of which, 8 women's teams included: Hanoi 1, Hanoi 2, Da Nang, Soc Trang, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Thuan, Can Tho, Yen Bai and 12 men's teams included: Hanoi 1, Hanoi 2, Da Nang 1, Da Nang 2, PKKQ PEAK, Soc Trang, Lam Dong, Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City 1, Ho Chi Minh City 2, Hue City youth, Dong Nai - Long Khanh.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 2025 National U20 and U23 3x3 Basketball Championship is not only a professional playground for young talents but also an event that contributes to enriching the sports and cultural life of Hue city, especially during the National Tourism Year 2025 that Hue is honored to host. With the spirit of fair-play, explosive and dramatic competition, the tournament promises to bring the audience eye-catching matches, spreading youthfulness and positive energy.

The teams compete after the opening ceremony.

Through this tournament, athletes will have the opportunity to exchange, compete and learn, and also help to re-evaluate the training of athletes in the localities. Thereby, there will be a direction to select and train excellent athletes to add to the national team and participate in regional and international tournaments.

According to plan, the U20 age group competitions will end on May 8; the U23 age group competitions will end on May 11.
