One day at the end of March 2024, we were present at the field area belonging to the two villages of Ha Doi and Kim Doi, Tien Thanh commune, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city. The scene here was quite bustling with many bulldozers, excavators, and trucks coming in and out to transport filling materials.
Speaking with Nguoi Dua Tin , a representative of the People's Committee of Tien Thanh commune, Tien Lang district, said that the contractor is urgently completing the infrastructure of the resettlement area of more than 15 hectares for households whose residential land was recovered to serve the Tien Thanh Industrial Park (IP) Project in the two communes of Tien Thanh and Cap Tien (both in Tien Lang district).

Tien Thanh Industrial Park is one of the key projects of Hai Phong City, invested by Tien Thanh Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company with an area of over 410 hectares, total investment of nearly 4,600 billion VND. Of which, the investor's contributed capital is nearly 920 billion VND, the rest is mobilized capital.
Tien Thanh Industrial Park project is divided into 3 phases. Phase 1 will be implemented from 2024 to 2026, phase 2 from 2026 to 2029 and phase 3 from 2029 to 2032.
According to information from the Land Fund Development Center of Tien Lang District, Hai Phong City, to serve the first phase of the Tien Thanh Industrial Park Project, the People's Committee of Tien Lang District reclaimed nearly 86 hectares of various types of land. Of which, more than 3.3 hectares of reclaimed land did not require site clearance (GPMB). The remaining area is related to the land of 595 households.

To date, Tien Lang District People's Committee has completed paying 595 households VND307.5 billion in compensation and support for site clearance. These households have handed over the cleared land to the investor to implement phase 1 of the project.
Along with land acquisition for the Tien Thanh Industrial Park Project, the People's Committee of Tien Lang District also acquired more than 15 hectares of land for resettlement as well as land acquisition for the project to invest in building a road from Provincial Road 354 to National Highway 10. This road is located in the areas of Tien Lang and Vinh Bao districts (both in Hai Phong City).
This route has a total length of 8.1 km, a total investment of nearly 1,400 billion VND, and is expected to be completed in 2026. The project will create a connecting route from National Highway 10 and Provincial Road 354 to industrial parks and industrial clusters in Tien Lang district, especially Tien Thanh Industrial Park.

According to information from the Tien Thanh Industrial Park Project Management Board, in addition to promptly paying the entire amount of support and compensation for site clearance in phase 1 of the project, the unit focuses on implementing procedures for land allocation and land lease for the project according to regulations.
Immediately after completing the procedures, the unit will start the project. It is expected that by the end of 2024, it will start attracting secondary investors to Tien Thanh Industrial Park, striving to fill the area of phase 1 in 2026.
In phase 1, the investor of Tien Thanh Industrial Park plans to attract investment in a number of key environmentally friendly industries that employ a lot of local labor, including: High-tech industry; Processing and manufacturing of consumer goods; Manufacturing and assembling of electronics; Mechanics... with FDI enterprises as the main ones.
When put into operation, Tien Thanh Industrial Park will increase the total number of industrial parks in Hai Phong City to 15. The industrial park is expected to contribute to creating a strong momentum for the socio -economic development of the southern Hai Phong region with a focus on Tien Lang district. In addition, it will create jobs for tens of thousands of workers in Tien Lang district and neighboring localities .
