According to airlines, from now until February 28, 2026, the northern and north-central regions of Vietnam will experience characteristic weather conditions with thick fog, drizzle, and limited visibility, especially in the early morning and late at night. Airports such as Cat Bi (Hai Phong), Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa), Vinh (Nghe An), Dong Hoi (Quang Binh), and Phu Bai (Hue) will frequently record low visibility, directly affecting takeoff and landing operations. During this year's Tet holiday, Vietnam Airlines Group plans to operate more than 1,300 night flights from February 1 to March 3, 2026, providing nearly 300,000 seats to meet the increased travel demand.
