JoyNews 24 (Korea) reported on August 16 that Kim Hye Yoon may play the lead role in the fantasy romance drama “From Today I Am A Human”.
The film tells the story of Eun Ho (Kim Hye Yoon) - a rich, eccentric MZ generation (Millennials and Gen Z) fox with a special hobby - a love of youth and unchanging beauty.
Being immature and not liking to take responsibility for anything, Eun Ho just likes to live a carefree life, avoiding doing good deeds and men for fear of becoming human.
However, her life is disrupted and becomes human due to an unexpected accident with Kang Si Yeol (Park Solomon) - a narcissistic soccer player who suddenly appears in her life.
Before Kim Hye Yoon, Shin Se Kyung was considered to play the female lead in mid-July, but the discussion was unsuccessful. However, Kim Hye Yoon's invitation to participate in the project received high expectations from the media.
Korean newspapers commented that with her emotional and natural acting ability and perfect chemistry with co-stars like Rowoon, Lee Jae Wook, Byun Woo Seok... the "romantic comedy queen" is expected to create a couple with a good image with Park Solomon (Lomon) - a male god with a height of 1m83 and a warm appearance.
“From Today I Am A Human” is directed by Kim Jeong Kwon - the creator of the success of the films “Love Challenge 2 Years” and “The Thread of Truth: Maestra”.
The drama is written by Park Chan Young and Jo Ah Young, the screenwriters of MBN's "The Best Chicken." The drama is currently in talks to air on SBS.
Along with “From Today I Am A Human,” Kim Hye Yoon is also considering starring in “The Year We Turned 29,” based on the Naver webtoon of the same name.
