Nguyen Ngoc Anh's new album has 3 compositions by musician Ho Hoai Anh: One song with a strong narrative style, one song with a gentle and poignant tone, and one song expressing a modern musical personality.

On October 16, singer Nguyen Ngoc Anh officially released a new album titled “The Promise” consisting of 8 songs with a diverse musical style of Pop mixed with many colors such as: Rock, R&B, Ballad, Retro, City Pop...

Although appearing regularly in large and small shows, Nguyen Ngoc Anh's album release frequency is quite modest. She is known as a meticulous artist who does not follow musical trends. This album is one of the clear evidences of Nguyen Ngoc Anh's personality.

In this album, musician Ho Hoai Anh wrote 3 songs, including “Khep lai khong dang” which she recorded as a MV and released last September.

All three compositions were written by musician Ho Hoai Anh specifically for Nguyen Ngoc Anh's voice, but have three different musical colors: One song follows a fierce narrative style, one song is gentle and poignant, and one song expresses a modern, edgy musical personality.

As for Ho Hoai Anh, he noticed that Nguyen Ngoc Anh had changed her singing style to "both renew her voice and reach out to young audiences who always want to accept new things." Therefore, he also had to change his composing style, working with the singer in the studio to find the most satisfactory way to perform each song.

In addition to Ho Hoai Anh, Nguyen Ngoc Anh's album "Promise" also marks the collaboration between her and young musician Pham Thanh Ha - the owner of many recent hits such as: "Sunshine Love", "Take Me Away", "Love Spell" ...

Another highlight in Nguyen Ngoc Anh's return this time is that her husband - singer To Minh Duc not only sings a duet with her but also helps her take on many other important roles such as: Producing and composing the song "Loi Hen Uoc" which is also the name of the album and arranging the song, recording and mixing.

In particular, the album also includes the song "Dong sang dich mong" marking the first collaboration between Nguyen Ngoc Anh and Tung Duong - the singer known as "Divo" in the Vietnamese music industry.

“I have loved and idolized Tung Duong for a long time, and like the way he lives and his passion for music. As a professional, Nguyen Ngoc Anh wants to be near Tung Duong to receive that good energy. It is correct to say that Nguyen Ngoc Anh follows Tung Duong’s example because he is the person I admire,” the female singer confided.

Singer Nguyen Ngoc Anh was born in 1981 in Quang Ninh. She won the Gold Medal of the National Voice Competition in 1999, the Third Prize of the Hanoi Young Voice in 2001. She became famous after winning the Second Prize of the Sao Mai Competition in 2005, in the light music genre. She has released several albums such as: "The Wonderful World " (2007), "Late Blooming Flower" (2011) in collaboration with musician Do Bao; "From the Heart" (2016) in collaboration with musician Pham Hai Au and "Softly Sing Old Love" (2022) in collaboration with singer To Minh Duc.
