Vietnam is becoming a top destination for international families. As evidenced by search data from September to November on online travel platform Agoda (stay period from December 2025 to January 2026), Korean tourists top the list, followed by India, Singapore, Australia and Malaysia.
Notably, searches from Indian visitors increased the most with an increase of 186%. Malaysia also recorded an impressive growth of 74%. This data affirms the attractiveness of Vietnam as a favorite family travel destination in Southeast Asia.
“Families choose Vietnam for its unique culture and cuisine , diverse landscapes, and child-friendly resorts and entertainment venues,” said Vu Ngoc Lam, Country Director of Agoda in Vietnam.
Phu Quoc Island topped the list of most searched destinations for international families, with a 47% increase in searches, thanks to its white sand beaches, clear blue waters and natural parks. This is an ideal destination for multi-generational vacations.
Da Nang followed with a 42% increase, highlighting its beautiful beaches, easy -going activities and Ba Na Hills theme park. Nha Trang took third place, remaining a favourite thanks to its long coastline, family-friendly resorts and diverse island experiences.
In fourth place, Ho Chi Minh City attracts visitors with its rich cuisine, modern entertainment areas and day trips to the Mekong Delta. In the North, Hanoi attracts visitors with its cultural heritage, museums and festive atmosphere - the final piece of the top 5 ideal family holiday destinations in Vietnam.
“Vietnam is increasingly becoming the top choice for year-end holidays for families across Asia and the world. Our data shows that Vietnam is increasingly appreciated by families as a family-friendly destination, thereby affirming the country’s position on the global tourism map,” Mr. Vu Ngoc Lam emphasized./.
