Expectations of an economic breakthrough from the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway.

The Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway will be opened to traffic on December 19th. This event not only realizes the dream of connecting vital transportation routes but also opens up great opportunities for trade and attracting investment in the southernmost province of Vietnam.

The final section of the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway is located in Ho Thi Ky commune.

Observations at the final section of the expressway passing through Ho Thi Ky commune, Ca Mau province, show a very urgent construction atmosphere. Groups of workers are busy reinforcing the roadbed, painting road markings, installing signs and protective railings.

Mr. Nguyen Van An, a local resident, was delighted to see the project nearing completion: "The workers toiled through the night, and everyone is happy to see the road finished. With the expressway, the economy will develop further, and agricultural products, shrimp, and fish will be transported to other places more easily and sold at better prices."

Currently, the journey from Ca Mau to Can Tho takes about 3-4 hours, and to Ho Chi Minh City takes 7-8 hours. When the expressway becomes operational, travel time will be shortened, helping to minimize logistics costs for businesses and people. Mr. Ta Hoang Nguyen, from Tan Thanh ward, Ca Mau province, said: "In the future, we hope that more investors will come to create jobs for the people."

Workers are working urgently on the highway to ensure it opens to traffic on December 19th.

Not only limited to the Can Tho - Ca Mau route, Ca Mau will also benefit from other key national infrastructure projects such as the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway and the bridge system connecting to the Hon Khoai deep-water port. "People are eagerly awaiting the opening day. In the future, when the expressway reaches Dat Mui and the infrastructure connecting to Hon Khoai port is completed, I believe this will be a major boost for Ca Mau's strong development," said Mr. Nguyen Van Han from Tan Thanh ward, Ca Mau province.

The people of Ca Mau are counting down the hours until the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway connects them. Each person from this southernmost region of Vietnam carries with them joy and hope, opening doors to trade, tourism development, and investment attraction.
