Ca Mau: Coast Guard assists in extinguishing fire that damaged 3 houses.

(CTO) - On May 28, officers and soldiers of the 42nd Naval Squadron, Command of the 4th Coast Guard Region, promptly coordinated with functional forces and local people to extinguish a fire that destroyed many houses in Phan Ngoc Hien commune, Ca Mau province.

The coast guard and other authorities assisted residents in extinguishing the fire.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 AM that same day. Upon receiving reports of a house fire, located only about 200 meters from their encampment, the Commander of Naval Squadron 42 immediately issued an emergency response order.

The Coast Guard quickly arrived at the scene, working alongside the police, border guards, militia, youth union members, and local people to actively extinguish the fire.

Due to the characteristics of the area where the fire occurred, with many adjacent houses made of flammable materials, the flames erupted fiercely and spread to four surrounding houses. By approximately 10:15 AM, the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished.

Although the fire did not cause any casualties, it completely destroyed three houses and damaged many properties, including four motorbikes and many household items. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities.
