Harlequin album will be released on September 27
Lady Gaga teased the news through a series of messages posted on her Instagram page over the past week, which also included audio clips from new songs.
The Oscar-winning actress plays Lee Quinzel – better known as Harley Quinn, the infamous comic book character – in Joker: Folie à Deux , the long-awaited sequel to the 2019 film Joker directed by Todd Phillips.
Gaga has received critical acclaim for the songs she has written for several films in which she has starred.

In 2019, Lady Gaga won the Oscar for Best Original Song with Shallow , which she composed and performed in the 2018 film A Star is Born . Harlequin is separate from Lady Gaga's upcoming seventh studio album, which she has also been working on and has teased on social media. Earlier in September, the singer announced that the first single from her new studio album would be released in October. The album will be a follow-up to her sixth album, Chromatica , released in 2020.
