Lai Châu recognizes 2 new tourist destinations.

The Provincial People's Committee has just recognized "Than Uyên Pine Hill" and "Love Hill Than Uyên" as tourist destinations in the province.

Mr. Tong Thanh Hai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee, signed Decision No. 2869 and 2870 recognizing tourist destinations in the province. Both decisions are effective from November 13, 2025.

Accordingly, "Than Uyên Pine Hill, Than Uyên Commune" and "Love Hill Than Uyên, Than Uyên Commune" are recognized as tourist destinations in Lai Châu Province.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Than Uyên Commune People's Committee the responsibility to direct the unit directly managing the tourist site to exercise its rights and obligations as prescribed.

In addition, the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Construction, and other relevant agencies, according to their functions and duties, shall carry out state management of tourist destinations.

Two new tourist destinations in Than Uyên commune are expected to boost the tourism potential of Lai Châu province, creating more attractive destinations for tourists.

Previously, on October 21, 2025, the People's Committee of Lai Chau province signed Decision No. 2662 recognizing Thong Lam village, Chit hamlet, Muong Than commune as a tourist destination in the province.
