Due to the impact of heavy rain from August 3-11, 2023, on Highway 133 (Tan Uyen town to Nam Tam, Sin Ho district), landslides have occurred, the road surface is at risk of breaking, causing damage to traffic infrastructure and stability of road works, risking traffic safety and affecting the circulation of vehicles participating in traffic on the route.
To ensure traffic safety on the route during the construction period to fix the above landslide location, and to avoid traffic congestion, Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee announces temporary traffic diversion as follows:
Prohibit all vehicles from circulating through the section from Km41+00 to Km65+500 on Provincial Road 133 from Noong Heo Commune Center, Sin Ho District, Lai Chau Province to Nam So Commune Center, Tan Uyen District, Lai Chau Province and implement traffic diversion.
Direction from lowland communes of Sin Ho district to Nam So commune center, Tan Uyen district: Go from Km69+400/DT.133 to Km83+00/DT.133, continue to DT.135 to Km0/DT.135 is Lai Chau city, continue to QL.4D starting from Km36+200 to Km63+500/QL.4D, turn right to QL.32, go to Km379+700/QL.32, turn right to DT.133 to Nam So commune center, Tan Uyen district.
Direction from Nam So Commune, Tan Uyen District to Noong Heo Commune Center and lowland communes of Sin Ho District: Go in the direction from Km41+00/DT.133 to Km0/DT.133, turn left onto QL.32, go all the way to QL.32, turn left onto QL.4D to Lai Chau City at Km36+200/QL.4D, turn left onto Le Loi Avenue, continue onto DT.135, all the way to DT.135 to Nam Tam Commune Center to go to lowland communes of Sin Ho District.
Traffic ban and diversion time starts from 10:00 a.m. on August 15, 2023 until further notice.
Lai Chau Department of Transport directed the road management unit to urgently install traffic signs; coordinate with relevant units and localities to guide and regulate traffic so that drivers participating in traffic on route DT.133 comply.
