Which bank has the highest deposit interest rate?

In the group of state-owned banks including: Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development ( BIDV ) and Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), Agribank has the highest deposit interest rate.

For a term of 1-2 months, this bank's interest rate is 2.1%/year, while the other three banks' interest rate is 1.6%/year. For a term of 3-5 months, Agribank applies 2.4%/year; VietinBank, Vietcombank , BIDV apply 1.9%/year.

For a term of 6-11 months, Agribank applies an interest rate of 3.5%/year, while the other three banks apply 2.9-3%/year. For a term of 12 months, Vietcombank applies 4.6%/year, lower than the 4.7%/year of the three banks in the same group. For 24 months or more, Vietcombank remains at 4.7%/year, while BIDV, VietinBank and Agribank apply 4.8%/year.

For joint stock banks, deposit interest rates range from 6-9.65% per year, but to enjoy high interest rates, customers must have large deposits. For example, at An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBANK), interest rates are up to 9.65% per year for customers opening new or renewing savings deposits of VND1,500 billion or more, with a term of 13 months.

Vietnam Public Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PVcomBank) applies 9%/year for 12-13 month term when depositing money at the counter if customers have a minimum deposit of VND 2,000 billion.

Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) also offers an interest rate of 8.1%/year for a 13-month term; 7.7%/year for a 12-month term, if maintaining a minimum balance of VND500 billion.

Vikki Bank digital bank applies an interest rate of 7.5%/year for term deposits of 13 months or more, with a minimum amount of VND 999 billion. Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Bac A Bank) applies the highest interest rate of 6.2% for terms of 18-36 months, with deposits of over VND 1 billion.

Or Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) applies an interest rate of 6%/year for a 13-month term with interest paid at the end of the term when customers have a deposit balance of 200 billion VND or more. Loc Phat Commercial Joint Stock Bank (LPBank) has an interest rate of 6.5%/year for deposits of 300 billion VND or more with interest paid at the end of the term.

Interest rates above 6%/year are being listed by some banks for long-term deposits, with no minimum deposit requirement. Cake by VPBank applies an interest rate of 6%/year for terms of 12-18 months and 24-36 months; HDBank applies an interest rate of 6%/year for terms of 18 months; Bac A Bank applies an interest rate of 6% for terms of 18-36 months...
